What this is for
The PDF is typeset rather than printed: headings get size and colour, lists a hanging indent, code blocks a panel, quotations a bar, tables a grid. Links are clickable in the finished file.
One limit comes with it, and it is reported rather than hidden: the PDF standard fonts are used. They cover Western European text - not Greek, Cyrillic, CJK or emoji. Such characters appear as question marks, and the tool then names exactly which ones.
