File tools on the web share one problem: you upload something that is your own business - a draft contract, an invoice, a scan of an ID. Where the file goes afterwards, and how long it stays there, is at best a line in the small print.
The tools here work differently. They run entirely in your browser: your files never leave your device, there is no upload, and nothing is parked on someone else's server. That is not a setting anyone could forget to switch on - it is how they are built.
