Remove sound from a video
Muting does not do it - removing does. In seconds.
Stays on your device – The video is processed in your browser. It is not uploaded.
The first click loads about 10 MB of processing module. Removing the sound itself takes seconds: the picture is carried across untouched and only the audio track goes.

What this is for
A radio in the background, somebody saying a name, or the recording simply needs to be silent. Muting does not help - the track is still in the file and back the next time it plays.
Here it is removed, and the picture is left alone. It is not recalculated but carried across unchanged: same quality, same resolution, and done in seconds rather than minutes. The file gets smaller along the way, because the audio track is gone.
The first click loads about 10 megabytes of processing module.
Common questions
No. The processing runs in your browser.
No. It is not recalculated but carried frame by frame into the new file unchanged. That is also why it is so quick.
Not from this file - the track is gone. Keep your original if you are unsure. If you want to keep the sound and only separate it, use "Extract sound from a video"; the link is below.
Then it comes back unchanged. The tool does not complain, there is simply nothing to do.
